5 Day Alberta Baited Black Bear Hunts
About the hunt
Hunt dates run mid may to early June to ensure snow has melted and baits are accessible. The rut also begins mid may runs through june so this time of year the mature boars begin chasing sows to ensure the highest opportunity at the trophy of a lifetime. We run 4 hunters per week to ensure opportunity for everyone in camp to hunt mature boars.
We hunt evenings over strategically thoughtout baits that are continuously replenished and monitored with cellular trail cameras. We hunt from permanent platform stands, ground blinds and two-man ladder stands. Archery or rifle hunts whichever you prefer. All baits are placed 20-30 yards from stands and blinds
Accommodations
Our Wall tent camp is a short 30 minute ATV ride from the trucks staging area where you’ll enjoy a comfortable and well-equipped backcountry camp experience in the heart of northern Alberta’s wilderness. Our wall-tent camps are fully powered by generators and feature a central kitchen and dining tent where hunters can relax and enjoy hearty home-cooked meals after a day in the field.
Hunters stay in separate heated wall tents designed for two people, complete with comfortable cots and foam mattresses to ensure a good night’s rest. Camp amenities include hot showers, clean outhouse facilities and Starlink Wi-Fi and/or cell service when available.
